Isn't it better to publich Articles on Squidoo Rather Than Ezine?

From what I can see squidoo has a page rank of 7 and ea a 6... so if i posted my articles on squidoo they would rank higher than ea right?

Plus squidoo has all kinds of features like digg and adsense, although it seems everyone is posting on ezine

I don't use squidoo because I don't know how to get my friggin article listed; so I just use ezine to get faster times in the search engines

Those websites are very powerful... they also index very fast in google and will rank highly if you use the right keywords. I've added Squidoo and Hubpage to my bum marketing methods because I realize that they will rank easily for long tail keywords with little and even no promotion.

The good thing about Hubpages is that you don't have to wait.

As lemonarian says, you should use both, also I would recommend Hubpages.

Using Squidoo and Hubpages is really simple. Just register and you will see.

If squidoo can bring the same result, then definitely I suppose it would be a better option,as it get posted immediately and no tension of getting rejected ,like in ezine,so p lease someone say is squidoo better or similar alternative as of ezine.

Some dude on this forum (I forgot who) mentioned how he writes articles for Ezine, then rewrites them for Squidoo, then rewrites them for Hubpages, etc., etc. So, why not do all?

But pagerank is a slippery thing. It doesn't have as much status as it once did. And besides, PR refers to a specific page. So, Ezine might have some pages with higher PR than others.

I agree with flip, it would be great to rewrite your original article for both squidoo and hubpages.

To answer your question, the reason people here tend to use ezine more than squidoo is to channel the reader to their landing page easier.

On ezine, aside from all the very bland things on the rest of the page, there is just your article and your resource box links.

On squidoo, there are a million other things on the page for the reader to get distracted by, and not click on your affiliate link.

Just to add to what you said Rebtl. it would be better to have a seperate landing page away from these sites. Just use them the way you have used ezine... to direct traffic to your landing page. I really hate the many distractions on them... that is why i'm going stop using them as landing pages, but use them to direct the unique traffic they bring to my page.

squidoo has too many leakages and for many niches ezine articles has
internally generated traffic which converts well.
Hubpages is easy but a few months they were flagging hubs like crazy
they have stopped now, but they could easily start again.
Plus you get your ezine article published for more exposure which you
would not be able to do with squidoo or hubpages

Hmm , from what I can read fro internet research since today and your posts , maybe It's best to post articles on squidoo and optimize them with EA and Hubpages. EA takes quite long at the beginning to get your article approved and hubpages seems to be flagged for junk articles by google , all I see for good keywords is ez articles , but when there is a squidoo page it seems to rank higher then EA.

I find EZineArticles rank much better than Squidoo without any help. In other words if I just put up something on Squidoo with no links back - it doesn't rank at all. The same thing with EZ (no links back) can rank very highly. That being said I see a lot of Squidoo results high in the SE so I think if you use the proper linking techniques you can get them to rank highly (obviously.) And I think Squidoo lenses are probably better landing pages than EZine as you have a lot more control and can get your links up higher.

Squidoo , EA is almost or just as good. I'd consider using EA to get quality backlinks to your squidoo article
