Hope you got your gMail account already (Can't imagine there is a person still looking for one)
iSnoops gMail spooler has been taken down at teh request of Google. Its strange they would ask for it to come down after all this time.

That service has given away millions of accounts over the last year.

I suppose this could indicate it may be coming out of beta

    Heres the full explanation:

PS. If anyone actually does need a gMail account, PM me your email address and I'll send you one.

    Cheers

I probably donated a couple thousand invites to them over the last year (I remember some days when they only had about 20 to give out). Last I looked they had around 7 million up for grabs.

The nice thing was all you had to do is enter your email. No long forms or anything.

Judging by the amount of people donating right before it was closed down, it must have been a major drain.

    Never heard of them either.

So they were basically an intermediate between GMail invitors and invitees?

Yeah, back in the day I was donating them when everyone was getting them from eBay and paying stupid prices.

It was set up so people wouldn't have top pay which was great. They probably gave away 10 million invites or more asking nothing in return.

Basically they had a spooler where you sent the invite and it automatically turned it around when someone requested one. I think Google liked the fact that they were providing the service and secretly supported them. Now that Google has given 50 invites to every account which automatically refresh there isn't a need for iSnoop.

I donated around 500 last month. If other people were doing the same it would have been a prety big drain.

I love it myself compared to Hotmail. People paid hundreds when it first came out, $25 a month later, and $1 each for about 4 or 5 months.

I love that you can forward your mail, it doesn't open url's in frames, folders, a fast search option, and how it groups conversations.

i'm so used to yahoo mail, that i find it annoying i can't have folders to store stuff in. i'm like a compartmental freak - everything in its place :)

i'm off to go back to bed - up just waiting for the little one to fall back asleep after being fed. if i don't go back now, i'll be sleep deprived all day :)

    later all!
