I know everyone has there own ideas on where is best to submit your articles. I have been conducting a case study of article submissions via both ezinearticles.com free article site and iSnare.com using their $2 paid distribution service. I have posted on my blog the results for the articles found in Google, Yahoo and MSN's indexes after 10 days for both article distribution methods. The iSnare Paid Article Distribution results after only 10 days show a massive amount of sites have picked up the article. But the Free Article Submission at EzineArticles Case Study also shows a few sites have republished the article in related niches after only 10 days. What do others think of Free and Paid article submissions? Do you submit to ezinearticles.com only religiously, do you pay for an article distribution service or do you submit manually to as many Free Article Directories as you can lay your hands on?
i never trust anybody to submit somethink to somewhere instead of me. i prefer ezinearticles and i submit my articles
Thanks for sharing your case study, it's an interesting read. Like you, I've found that ezinearticles sends more traffic, but isnare gets more links. Which do I use? Both!
If I want to optimize an article to reach the top spot at search engines, I choose EzineArticles. If I want to build a lot of backlinks from article directories, I prefer to hire to someone to submit my articles to hundreds of article directories. For saving my time.
i have submitted my article s to EZA - but my article or site is not in the top of SERP's - can someone enlighten this newbie - as to how it is done. thanks in advance
We have highlighted some of the other paid article distribution services on our blog, such as thephantomwriters.com and articletrader.com. These seem to cost quite a bit more than iSnare though at between $14 - $35 per article distribution. We have only tested iSnare out though, so don't know if you get any better distribution from these other paid services or not. Can anyone else comment on other paid article distribution services and the results?
You have to only target multiple-word search phrases without too much competition. EZA is a good site, but don't expect it to rank highly for competitive phrases.
Nice study, more or less just reinforced my current policy of submitting to iSnare for $2 then to ezine separately. ezinearticles is still great for residual traffic to your article if you happen to be lucky enough to get one that ranks highly for a couple keywords in google
I posted a comment in your blog similar to this: You need to check the next pages in the search results, because as you do, that number at the top of the google search results telling you how many results there are, will significantly drop! Check for yourself. The results aren't too fantastic. I think there was 16 on one article, and 9 on the other. Regardless.... I think you should post on more top article directories, other than just EZA or using isnare's service.
I would recommend using both ezine as well as isnare. But always submit to ezine first, wait until it is approved then go ahead with isnare. Ezinearticles.com is really adament about placing the same article that is on a bunch of other article distribution sites, they may reject it. The good thing about isnare is that they do syndicate it to a whole mess of other sites. Hope this helps.
