We would all have better mental health if there was greater tolerance and acceptable for people as they are and not expecting them to conform to x, y or z. Who cares what someone's religious beliefs are (or aren't), how they pray, their sexual orientation, fashion, gender, skin colour, etc. Life's too short; love, peace and happiness.

According to the OFFICIAL UK CENSUS data there are at least 9,104,000 atheists in the UK. That's more than the Muslims, Hindus, religious Jews, Sikhs, Buddhists and other religions combined, and accounts for 15.5% of the population.
That also doesn't take into account the people that left the "religion" part blank, so the actual amount is actually much higher.

The current number of UK atheist is irrelevant simply due to the fact that they are part of a rapidly diminishing population group. The English atheist have a fertility rate well below replacement rate. Meanwhile Muslims have an exploding fertility rate with 3+ children per family. The complete extermination of UK atheist is just a matter of time and judging by the explosion of violence we saw in 2012 I belive that oppression of non-muslims will set in in less than 20 years. Already London has better business opportunities for a practicing Muslims then for non-muslims.

My estimates are based on cold hard data . Data that won't change no matter how much you boil with rage or how many strawman arguments and insults you trow around.

Even with the 10% increase in atheism had in the past decade the number of Muslims doubled and this trend is accelerating. Unfortunately for the UK this rise nothing more then a ~15 year bubble. The fertility rate is still in the tank and even with a massive statistical boost provided by immigrants this number won't change :

No, they're not. Come and live here among the diverse population of British people, immigrants, etc. There are Muslims in politics and this has not made my life worse (I can't say the same for some white Christians). Overreacting, hate-filled white people do not help anything.

The amount of people converting to Islam is small in comparison to the growth of atheist, I-believe-in-God-because-I'm-selfish-and-afraid-of-dying, and all those other similar groups of people who don't have a true belief in God (or Gods, or the Easter Bunny). Who goes to church? Hardly anyone. No, those people aren't flooding the mosques but either getting wasted, making babies, recovering from a hangover, getting stoned, or something else along those lines (or a combination).

So, you read a few newspaper articles, a few events, look at the big picture, day-to-day and there are many days between these events. Mostly, people in the UK co-exist peacefully. Sometimes bad stuff happens, a lot of the bad stuff is white-on-white. But, you don't live here so you don't have a clue.
