Using the litmus test of some here, apparently you only have to listen to Alex Jones and support Ron Paul for President.

Well, that is a dramatic turn about face. You seem to judge Muslims and Arabs here constantly. Why do I get special treatment?

All of the time. Much of my family is protestant or catholic. I don't even agree with catholicism, but I will defend their right to believe it.

I don't have a problem with Jews at all. Frankly, I don't know any Zionists, but the ones I have read, I even agree with them. Being Jewish is not synonymous with being pro-Israeli foreign policy, just as being Christian is not synonymous with being a Mike Huckabee supporter, or being Muslim means you are an Ahmadinejad fan.

Now that sounds reasonable. You know, that crazy idea of innocent until proven guilty. One of the corner stones of a civil society.

Aren't you curious to know why more haven't been arrested in the domestic US?

Maybe because its harder for them to get in here, maybe because if they really want to kill Americans they don't have to come America they can go to Iraq. People take the path of least resistance and its’ easier to get into Iraq then it is into the US.

So your argument is that people who will go against their instinct to live, and are willing to blow themselves up, will obey their instinct to follow the path of least resistance, and book a shorter flight.

I suppose that theory is no more or less illogical than many others.

That's the point a lot of people are missing. If we weren't fighting the terrorists in Iraq and Afganistan, they would be in the US killing Americans.

It's so illogical, it's nuts. With the American military absolutely deployed to the ME and Afghanistan, there is NOTHING to stop attackers from coming here. This is how 3rd dimensional warfare is fought. You always attack the weakest flank or position, against an immobile enemy.

Its not about booking a shorter flight, its about the ability to get into that country and its easier now to get into Iraq then it is to get into the United States. In addition for an attack in the United States, you need planning, funds and other resources which in acquiring so also increase the risk you’ll get caught. So its easier to go to Iraq, hid out among the Iraqis when you won’t stand out as easily and plant bomb and carry out attacks on the US Military because in the end they are still killing American citizens which is one of their stated goals.

We didn't have the American Military in Afghanistan or Iraq and guess what they came here to kill us.

Trying to prove a negative is a logical fallacy.

Ridiculously easy to go to Mexico and cross the border. Easier to acquire materials here than anywhere else.

The goal of terror is not to attack the military. It is to attack civilians.

That assumes that they can get into Mexico and get through the border without getting picked up. You also have to hope that your not being tracked by the CIA and picked up or that the someone doesn't get suspicious and calls the FBI on you. Then they also need money and a place to stay and without valid documents its very hard to open a bank account or rent an apartment which you need while you plan and prepare for the attack. Remember that all the 9-11 Hijackers came into this country legally.

Al Qeada Stated goal is to kill as many Americans as possible in hopes of getting the American people to pressure our government from withdrawing out of the middle east so that Al Qeada can overthrow governments their cut off the oil to the rest of the world and then force everyone to convert to Islam.

So you're saying that it might be harder to get into the US from Mexico, than it is to Iraq from Saudi Arabia?

Well, they killed as many in a few hours on 9/11 as they did in 5 years in the ME.

Sounds to me like they would be more likely to target a mall or other public place, than to try to take out 100 soldiers in a month.

As far as the oil, that's crazy. There is oil in Alaska. In Canada. In the gulf. Off the coast of Florida. If we weren't paying to fight for oil in the ME, we could probably get our own oil here.

I think we are much more likely to build nuclear plants, and run electric cars than mass convert to Islam.

As often as you judge America and Israel? Or a little less?

That's not what I asked. Does your family support your conversion?

I've never seen anything but contempt for Jews and Israel. Now, I will admit that you have been extraordinarily kind to those committing terrorist acts, as the topic of this thread. But then I expect that from you.

So you would treat terrorists with more revere than your own country? I've never seen a kind comment for your country, yet here we are discussing terrorists again, and it's nothing short of a bleeding heart.

Doesn't sound very "republican" to me ;)
