Lying in Islam is the most comprehensive writeup I've found so far discussing the fundamentalist Islamic positions on truthfulness and lying.

If you're not familiar with Islam, especially if you are a Muslim, you should read this article.

The mullahs read it and practice it. Their followers are having fun putting it in practice too.

That is another sure sign Muhammad is not a true prophet IMO. True prophets never lie under any circumstances. A true prophet is a representative of God. Then how in the world he could lie? If he lies it is like God lying.

    Islamic Rules Concerning Truthfulness

Proclaim, "The truth has prevailed, and falsehood has
    vanished; falsehood will inevitably vanish."

    [Quran 17:81]

You shall not utter lies with your own tongues stating:
"This is lawful, and this is unlawful," to fabricate lies
and attribute them to GOD. Surely, those who fabricate
lies and attribute them to GOD will never succeed.

    [Quran 16:116]

GOD: there is no god except He; the Living, the Eternal.
He sent down to you this scripture, truthfully,
confirming all previous scriptures, and He sent down the
Torah and the Gospel before that, to guide the people,
and He sent down the statute book.

    [Quran 3:2-3]

Say, "The Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord,
truthfully, to assure those who believe, and to provide a
beacon and good news for the believers."

    [Quran 16:102]

    Here are some interesting links:

Americans Believe Bush Lied about Iraq

Bush Lied about 9/11 Terrorists Motives

Bush Misled America about the Threat from Iraq

Did Bush Lie Us into War?

List of Bush Lies from BushWatch.com

    Scientific American Lies

    But remember;
Nothing is hidden from GOD, on earth, or in the heaven.
    [Quran 3:5]

BTW; its not fair to describe Bush's lies and "Christian lies".
A true Muslim will never do it.

    Ishaq.

A true prophet, what is that ?

God lied, in the first few lines of genisis, lets assume for a crazy moment that any of this is real, why would his prophets have to be truthful when god lied to the very first humans he created........

    Ishaq:

You seem to have two entirely contradictory arguments, both of which are incorrect.

In the first, you show verses from the Koran which argue against lying. Yet, these verses do not magically cancel out the verses which approve of lying. If a person tells you one lie and one truth, is he suddenly correct in your eyes? No. He's still a liar.

In the second, you seem to say "these people claim that George Bush lied, therefore it's OK for Muslims to lie." This arguments has two faults. One, these people are wrong. Two, even if these people were correct, the wrong of George Bush lying would not make the wrong of Islamists lying suddenly "right."

You may not like this, but it is true.

I found from personal experience that most middle estern people much more often than any other group of people lie and don't feel it is a sin. Some of them are even trying to master the skill of lying to others.;)

As much as the west can't run on dualistic politics, that's what islam is - dualistic or a kind of schezophrenic ideology, as much you will be never able to understand about the truth that matters. Pack your bags and go to stay there where you belong to.

    Sincere advice

I have noticed that Muslims do not accept data from any source other than the Qua'ran.

This article, however, quotes the Qua'ran extensively and still you do not accept it. Therefore, it seems that Muslims only accept the portions of the Qua'ran which fit their own agendas.

Ug. You quoted the wrong bit Laterhorn, the page specifically refutes that it ever used the number 2777, but rather that it claims that the fires could not have gotten any hotter than 825 degrees C.

That said, since steel looses 50% of it's strength at 648 C, there is obviously enough of an argument for an already destabilized (Damaged) structure to be weakened enough by fire to collapse, under the assumption that the original design wasn't meant to have more than double the necessary strength.

I assume that you're talking about either average structural steel, or the mix of steel used in the construction of the twin towers.

Personally, I have issue with ANY religion that will, in the same breath, spout how they are a religion of peace, but at the same time advocate violence, murder, abuse of women, and intolerance to any other belief system other than their own. Lying is second nature, hah, first nature, to orthodox muslims. It's abhorrent how the children are taught that murdering anyone who doesn't willingly stick their ass in the air five times a day is a good thing. I have had personal experience with the males of this religious 'species', and quite frankly, in my opinion, they all need to be neutered. The filthy arrogance these people have towards the rest of the world that doesn't cower to their vicious god is incredible. They truly believe that all the world belongs to them because they are muslim, and therefore follow the "true" religion and that we are filthy squatters. They are worse than xianity ever was. At least xianity finally got out of their bloody burning times. Islam is STILL in the Dark Ages, and wants to drag everyone else back there too.

I don't trust that truther source. They could be right, but I would like to see what SA/Shermer have to say about it before drawing any conclusion.

It could collapse even if it was fitted to carry more than the double weight. Holes caused by airplanes and floor collapses. You know that there was supporting steel below the concrete floors.

Oh, there goes the dude who complained about anti-semitism in France.
    Hello, there.
When you are done with bashing Islam, you might want to take a look at the Jewish Religion to see why Jews are hated so much around the World and more so than Muslims.
