I wouldn't dare challenging you in a battle of lying. It's your game and there won't be much I can do to win a battle based on lies.

My information comes from tourists as well as Indonesian Muslims. And Indonesian Christians appalled by the hypocrisy.

Generally speaking Indonesian Muslims compared to Muslims in other nations are moderate. Indonesia being the biggest Muslim nation doesn't even hold a seat in the Islamic congress.

The masses of moderates are generally speaking poor and passive just like Indonesians were when Islam was brought over and Indos got converted by force.

The rest of your post I will not dignify with a remark. I've reported you and hope others will do the same thing.

This thread is intended to be educational and not to be abused by verbal propaganda by people like you and the other guy who threatened the lives of other members.

Thanks Blogmaster - I actually had the same rep issue with you on the previous page - still wont allow me to re-rep.

Unfortunately it seems that some people respond significantly more emotionally to these threads than others, in this case reacting like some screaming brat or a stereotypically hysterical woman from a 1940s film. (Although previously I believed myself and Rebecca to be the only women constants here, it seems otherwise now.)
It's like if we were in high school debating and you made the argument that gun control would only prevent law abiding citizens from acquiring weapons while criminals would still enjoy access. Then the opposing team responds, cunningly as expected, with; "Well, you're a stupid head who lies!"

I reported the post regarding child abuse too - generally I almost never report, but in this case it wasn't something that should be ignored.

Enjoy your day Blogmaster, I'm off to finish my late lunch.

islam first brought to indonesia coming from arabs and chinese traders.
do you know the size of majapahit empire? a hindu empire that rule most of indonesia at that time? how can a small muslim traders from arabs, india, and chinese force local people to convert to islam?

once a liar, always a liar.
i alway gives you facts and sources, while you give nothing but rumour's from tourist.

while christiany brought to indonesia by force, thank to the dutch.

    let the others judge.

    And again, more today:

Indonesia police kill, capture terror suspects in Aceh

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/04/12/AR2010041201305.html

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia (Reuters) - Indonesia police said on Monday they had shot dead an Islamic militant involved in the beheading of three schoolgirls in 2005 and captured three other men in raids in Aceh province in Sumatra.

Police carried out the raids around Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh, following the arrest on Sunday morning of six terror suspects in Medan, North Sumatra.

Scores of suspected militants have been arrested in recent weeks, most of whom had trained at a camp in Aceh. Some of those arrested or killed in raids in recent weeks had been involved in bomb attacks in Indonesia.

Security experts have warned that Indonesia's militant network has strengthened, as individuals from the splinter groups of Jemaah Islamiah and other radical organizations have formed an alliance.

Police said on Monday they shot a man involved in the beheading of three Christian schoolgirls in 2005 in the Poso region of Central Sulawesi province. More than 2,000 people died there in clashes between Christians and Muslims from 1998 to 2001.

"We have shot dead a wanted terrorist ... He was involved in the mutilation of three schoolgirls in Poso in 2005," said Aceh police chief of detectives, Esa Permadi, in a text message.

The man, Enal Tao alias Zaenal alias Ridwan, 38, had arranged for militants to travel to the Philippines for training in a militant camp, Permadi said.

Separately, a national police spokesman in Jakarta said one of the six men captured in Medan had been trained at a militant camp in the southern Philippines, while two others had been involved in the bomb attack on the Australian embassy in Jakarta in 2005. Just because you don't like what is said doesn't automatically make a person a liar.

Everytime you blue avatar people can't refute something you claim someone is a liar. Seems this is a common thread, or are you all just one person (menji)?

Everytime I see you posts, I shake my head.
70 percent in your country cannot afford to eat properly. 40 percent without electricity.

Your nation is a complete mess. But you come here on DP and have to shoot off about Islam.

The Dutch are gone, slavery is over. Yet what has been done in Indonesia since?

How have you or others contributed to make it a better place?

    I can go on forever.

All Indonesian airlines were banned from Europe for some time, because of the low quality putting international flights in danger.

The work ethics, everything in your country is below anything I had ever seen or experienced.

I happen to know the guy who runs part of the school district in Aceh. He also owns the network responsible for the internet in Indonesia (you know, the one that goes out every 40 minutes).

I know the poor and I know the rich and looking at the priorities of the rich, it's easy to see why Indonesia is in the shape it's in.

Not to forget the corruption, the selfishness of those who have, all of it really made me sick.

So maybe it shouldn't come as a surprise that you, who obviously is doing well, don't worry about that and instead have nothing better to do than come here and blame the west.

The West is far from perfect.

But I can tell you, I've been to 30 countries, including 3rd world (like Nicaragua) and Indonesia is the worst without a challenge.

Why don't you do something with your time that benefits your people?

LOL, that too much.... don't bother to ask for his source, he won't give any, because he doesn't have any, he only make things up.

once a liar, always a liar.

Reverse progress. The stoning law got introduced just a few months ago.

Unlike you I don't have time to do damage control on wikipedia and I couldn't care less.

I haven't lied about one thing in regards to Indonesia.

You should get up and help fix things there rather than coming here and pretending everything is great.

But here is some more great news from the part of Indonesia you seem to be most fond of:

Issues: ‘Sharia police arrested for rape’

    http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2010/01/20/issues-‘sharia-police-arrested-rape’.html

    Great progress!

They charge her with indecency and then rape her.

But like you said, that sort of stuff does not go on where Sharia law rules ...

Seriously dude, when I first came to Indo I couldn't believe how a nation could get so messed up, but the more of your posts we read, the more sense it all makes.

But let's keep this on topic and we're talking about Islam. Indonesia is a whole different story, so you should make a thread about that.

Maybe you can convince some poor fools somewhere, but the people who hang out here tend to be a little bit more awake than the average Indonesian in Aceh who survives on 1.80 U.S.D. a day while the police collects bribes from the local stores which sell wine and beer under the keyword of "coffee" or "tea" in little brown containers.

    couldn't see the video unfortunately.
if that cleric said such words then he was totally wrong I think. God never said such in Koran. already read the Koran but for sure searched again but didn't see such concept in it.

Out of curiosity, are you really in Iran?

In regards to your statement, it's in hadith.

"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Question posed to "Questions on islam" site: "A war between Jews and Muslims at the end of time is mentioned. Will you give information about the talking of the tree or stone behind which a Jew hides?"

    Questions on islam

I'm assuming the muslim cleric on this site is mainstream?

I live in Iran, maybe for this reason I couldn't watch the video!:confused:
no any obligation you ask any question you want.

I never heard anything about this hadith!
Islamic world have a lot of hadith for any issues and many of them contradict with others.
I don't know how much could trust on hadiths but know we have a lot of fake hadiths.

anyway in Koran mentioned a lot of things about Jewish and other faiths and commended what to do with them so guess need not to pay attention to hadith in such matters.

Iran is heavily censoring the Internet right now, there have been reports of them even trying to threaten opposition outside of Iran. I don't know much about it, but have you heard anything about the free Haystack software?

    You're welcome, Babak. :)

I'm not sure if it's being distributed yet. I did find that the organization behind HayStack, is the Censorship Research Center. They are on Facebook, and have a regular website.

On Facebook, they posted an interesting article...
I'm glad that you have Jap Jondo at least for now to browse the Internet.
