Is YPN less banhappy then google?

I am wondering about switching to YPN on some sites to prevent nightmares about having the Adsense account banned for no reason. So I wonder if YPN is more relyable.

They will ban quickly for to much International traffic, but beyond that I don't think you hear about bans as much because there are far fewer publishers than with Google. I think their rules are basically the same for the most part and would ban for a violation of the rules, but I am overall happy with them.

The biggest reason for BAN is clicking yourself

One guy I read logged into his adsense account using Anonymous Service & got banned

    Not true, Master-X.

I was banned without warning. Fortunately they rock and re-instated my account. For that, I love them.

I remember that. We had quite a thread about that when it happened. Sometimes these companies will ban without all the facts. However, they have so many that are trying to circumvent the rules that it is hard for them to know who honestly are making a mistake and who are trying to steal from the Advertisers and them.

You are right they are not by any means. Yahoo is less apt to ban than Google, but remember that Google has a far larger base that is trying to find ways to generate income through practices that break the TOS.

well i think by banning people they get good monry like ig u have $ 3000 in ur account and u get ban then YPN/Adsence still get that money from Company and keep em insted of giving that person.. ( that's what i think evne tho they say we will refund to the advertiser ) let me know if i m wrong

I also think Adsense on average pays more per click.

Never seen either a YPN or AdSense account banned for "no reason." Generally there is a reason a site/account is banned. My guess is if you fear getting banned on a site running AdSense, it stands to reason you should have the same fear using YPN.

Follow the TOS and you should be fine.

I somehow really doubt they ban for international traffic alone. that being said, clicks from international traffic are definitely worth significantly less than clicks from US/canada/etc.

Kind of like the Macintosh-"What viruses" vs Windows debate
Why write a virus for 3% of the population of computer users?
The same logic can be applied to Yahoo vs Google

But I remember that yfs1 was banned due to rapidly increase in traffic(from digg). I am not responsibel to keep away links that brings too much traffic, am I?

It is not really a ban as much as a suspension. They will send you a letter stating your site receives to much international traffic and that you are welcome to reapply when they open it up to everyone. This has happened to a few people and there has been several here that have gotten this letter.

True, but again, there was a "reason". I just don't see Google as "ban happy". That is the point I am trying to make. More often then not the reason for the "ban happy" feeling has more to do with the usual "google banned me" posts on DP. And there are a lot. I've not yet seen a "YPN banned me thread", which is likely the reason it would appear to many that Google is "ban happy". I just don't see it that way. 99.99999% of the threads that start with "google banned my acccount", appear to be completely legit bans.

yfs1 appears to be the exception to the rule. It's kinda like the justic system in America. It ain't perfect, and there are mistakes made, but 99.99999% of the people in prison deserve to be there, yet every one of them will claim to be innocent if you ask them.
