I know YouTube was banned earlier in the year, just want to find out from the Chinese members here if the ban has been lifted.

Is there some other video sharing site you're allowed to use?

Plenty of Chinese video sharing sites.
    tudou.com, 56.com, youku.com and qq.com to name a few I think.

China is unfairly controlling the way their population lives from what I see is they are trying to cover up the truth about somethings by blocking sites like youtube were people can learn the truth about their government...
But there is still ways for them to get around it.
