Youtube does not allow HyperLinking and also is no follow. So is it any worthful? I have seen a number of people commenting on Youtube?
I've never seen a backlink from youtube listed on Google's first page that wasn't in the youtube profile. I don't think that would be a good way to spend your link building time. Create a powerpoint presntation or a video, upload and then add your profile. Then bookmark it and add it to social media sites like twitter, facebook, myspace. It's a better method of obtaining backlinks.. BTW, there is a paid2youtube site that works like a ptc for videos. You pay a small fee, people view your video=you get more views.
When people see a url in a youtube video comment, they think its spam and ignore it. As a youtube video publisher, do me a favor, and dont go around spamming urls on video comments. It just gets your account blocked and the comment removed.
i am agree with KEV URL at comment is not a good way, if you want good traffic from youtube and video marketing then only option is your own video and link at video Description and in the video,
To be honest, thats no different to the spam i get in my blog comments each day.... "nice post thanks" or "that was a good read" and all those. The trouble is, if you can leave a backlink then someone, somewhere will have written a "backlink domination", "supercharge your backlinks", "google #1 in 1 hour" type ebook that people will rush out and buy and take it for gospel. -phew- glad thats off my chest I dont like spam comments on my video channel or blog but what can you do, hey
links in the comment will just be ignored. it would be worth if you create a video, upload it and put your links in the description.
You never see a youtube backlink on google's front page. I have never done it myself, but heard lots of people bringing in traffic that is somewhat decent.
when you upload a youtube video (make sure your url is in the description, near the top) go find another related one and "video comment" to that - its probably a better way
sorry bekhem but I am as well looking for real answers. You just copy what Supermom_in_ny post above?
If your going to take the time to ask about video comments, and other ways to drive traffic to your site. Then why not make some videos and post them on youtube? Take this time that your wasting, and invest it into better ways to drive traffic to your site.
You cannot put links in comments. You are better making your own videos and marketing, marketing, marketing. If you really want to put comments, you are better on a forum or blog, where you can build a relationship. Cheers, Mukul
Video responses to popular videos (related to your niche) work better for exposure and traffic to your own Youtube Channel.
I personally think youtube comments ARE helpful, because it usually gets you more subscribers if they see good comments
It would be more useful if you post up videos as video responses. Personally, I don't think I've ever visited someone's profile by reading a comment.
