I have read articles that if a site is really good and the visitors are getting what exactly they are looking for in the site, then it turns out against you as those visitors become ad blind. Hence you get no click and you are not able to earn. The reason.. site is too good and visitors are happy with what you are providing. They don't want to look here and there. Anyone of you have experienced this ? If yes share it with us fellow members. Would like to know what other experienced DP members think about the same.
Well i don't think soo but a good exemple is that if you have a site for webmaster they are adblend from the start if the site is too good it's ad blind gone to the extreme ... maybe that's why crappy sites make money the visitators whan't to get the hell out there and click on any link and as they are full of ads there you go ... But in general i think a good site pays off (let's take the exemple of dp ) Regards
But still their is Advantage for you. Fastclick & Casalemdia like programms can generate revenue for you for impressions. More traffice = more REvenue.
If your site is perfect in describing some product or type of service, but not actually selling it directly, you can make it as good as you want, then hope people click the ads to actually see about purchasing it. If it's just an info site, you may need to think of something slightly related that people who are interested in your info might want to buy/learn about, and nudge them in that direction. I think every niche can work if you incorporate the right things in it to make clicking ads seem like a natural step in the process.
Don't know because if you don't have quality content, you won't get visitors to your site in the 1st place.
tea must get the quality content for that, and i guess i have tried hard to make it and it worth good to earn money for my site
Well, some sites such as webmastering, technology, tend to get less clicks because people are more ad conscious.
Well, theoretically, I guess if your site offers all the information on a given topic, the user wouldnt need to ever click an add because your site already offers the info, product, or service that the advertisement is offering. However, it is highly unlikely that any site will ever do all this.
My site receives many ads that are related, but that don't provide the same service or info that my site does. So, I guess that is one reason why someone would click. I think you can have a great site, but still get clicks because the ads cover a related area not specifically addressed on your site, but may still be of interest to visitors since they are on the same topic. For instance, my site is a photo hosting site and I get ads served for photo editing software, image editing, photo albums, photos to dvds, etc. These may interest my site visitors.
I think a good site should be able to earn good bucks as opposed to one dedicated specially for ads only. Besides the visitors to your site are rather static as opposed to being fixed-they change. Otherwise you will get banned by google if same people click on your ads
My opinion is that a Good site could payoff, although people may stick to your content and don't wanna leave your site by clicking on any of your ads. They would view more pages and turn back and your traffic is up. Traffic brings revenue and ultimately it would payoff. Poor site never has any returning visitors.
Then just sell your own ads or use a service that pays based on impressions. If your site is that good, you should be able to get big advertisers interested and make more anyway.
