Is your phpLD directory getting SPAMMED still?

I'm just curious if the amit_pat errr i mean spammer(s) at large is/are still on the attack.

Yes everyday but all from different locations get rid of some and then others arrive never ending

I said back in late October i would devise a way to fight the spam, and well, I believe I really have the spammer by the balls now, with my phase two being completed and tested. They cannot get through. :evil grin:

I got submissions by automatic softwares, and the annoying thing was that they just submitted and exit without payment. I really don't know how can do this. After that, I turned on the image verification, and now it's better.

I don't get as much spam now as a couple of weeks ago,since I did the submit2 thing, but there is still around 20 sites a day and it is the same person all the time.

I invite all spammers to spam me too.

 

I used to get them all the time, but ive banned about specific 6 ips and since then i only get the occasional item of spam.

 

banning IPs is not going to stop them. it's ineffective and proxies are too plentiful.

 

Yes My directory is getting spammed with casino, porn, gambling, pharmacy and deep links.
Anyway to stop them..

My paid directory is getting atleast one submission from these spammers.. they submitting and just closing the payment page..

Is there any script for automaticaly deleting the urls submitted, which not completing the payment process.

Im using PHPLD 2.0 in one directory and PHPLD 3.1.0 in another.
