Many marketing experts stress the importance of having a U.S.P or Unique Selling Proposition. I display mine by doing the things my competition hates to do. How do you display your uniqueness or how do you separate yourself from your competition? Any examples, steps or general ideas appreciated.
The uniqueness what you have to provide is show the people who will come your website, tell them about your self by providing the about me page so people can read about it and trust it. Put down honest about me page..don't go and say that your are expert on your niche and providing wide lies..no tell just provide accurate information about yourself.. I hope this helps. Thanks Alam
Do people actually read that stuff? Its like saying people also read privacy, and TOS, and we know very few read this stuff until something goes wrong, and then they may read the tos or something....
Suppose you have 100 visitors and out of them 10 visitors want to read the privacy policy and who is behind the website and how do you know that 10 visitors will not buy what you recommend. Because if you check the conversion ratio is very low and from that 10 visitor they might find somewhere which will make comfortable to buy staff.. In now internet marketing generation, everything is important..we need to provide valuable things to the visitors and build relationship with them.. I hope you got my point.. Thanks Alam
A great way to put a human personality and uniqueness to your website is on Twitter. Tweeting stuff that isn't always promotional and is just for fun, or talks about your day, will make people feel that they're associating with a real person, and not just a stone-faced website. That being said, don't get your personality confused with your USP! Having a personality is not a "unique selling proposition". They're two different things.
build your sites reputation.. and by doing so you can use social networks. make a good impression in their and put everything the people have to know about what your niche is about.
The best way to seperate yourself from your competition - is to do things that they don't do, like, do extra promotion - and build links. Also, uniqueness is a great factor of one's niche success.
