During April I noticed my MSN traffic was down by over 25%. Wondering what has happened with your sites? There has been no significant change with MSN serps during that month. Just recently MSN made deals with Alexa and Amazon to power their sites. Wondering if this has anything to do with MSN traffic volume? Dave
My MSN traffic has always been pretty insignificant, even with #1 search terms so it's difficult to tell.
A month ago somewhere around the big daddy update, my msn visitors dropped to zero. Normally i have 30-40% visitors from msn. Now suddenly all visitors came back. this happened on sunday april 30th. really a whole month Zero,0,nada visitors en suddenly they came back Didn't change a thing. I think that is weard!
Traffic from MSN has been steady for one of my sites over the last 3 months. About 200 hits a day on average. Just the last few weeks I have seen an increase about 250 a day.
I rank #1-10 for all of my primary keywords and phrases on most of my sites with MSN, and I still notice very little traffic coming from it... It is traffic none the less, but nothing to report in terms of less or more traffic recently.
MSN is probably one of the most consistent for me, only sends me a few hundred visitors a day but has been doing that without fail the last 6 months or so.
Both MSN and Yahoo traffic was down for me and no real changes in the serps either. Actually I might have gained rankings in the serps.
Seems like inconsistant data. Must be my site and traffic. Haven't lost anything significant on serps on msn....just could be a blip. dave
