You got to start some where. My first site was hosted on modblog.com I modified it , created unique layouts, and images and basically put a lot of hard work into every inch of it , until one day mod blog went under I was really angry. I didn't even know about adsense or anything at the time ... I thought people where only making money online through Donation Buttons. that was 10 years ago.
I started my first website around 2 years ago and it still up. dont plan to sell it just think to keep it as some antique lol. I did made some money from it though.
Yes it is still live and helps me today for keyword idea like when we start thinkin about earning money online that what we search for .
Mod blog was a pretty good site , they gave you the option of modifying your own blog in very innovative ways , like adding your own polls, comment fields, chat boxes, forums, and much more right on your blog through widgets. It was like having an online wordpress hosted on another site , but with more functionality. It's hard to believe, but it was that intense and incredible to have a mod blog.
Nope, it's gone. It wasn't making me any cash (I didn't know what the hell I was doing) But I learned from my mistake. I never let a domain expire and I keep my sites live.
My first site is still running, it's a little over a year old right now. Personally I think it sucks and is ugly, but I decided to keep it for sentimental reasons.
It's alive, 12 years old, but it's been a long time since I updated it. It's an old Nintendo site. It and another Nintendo site made me almost $100,000 in 2000 before da dot-com crash!
No, unfortunately the rinkie dink hosting company went out of business suddenly; wiping out the site and I have not managed to locate my back-up. .
I forgot what was my first website.. Because i launch a bunch when i started. But yes some of them are still making money but this time not for me.
