    I usually keep my computer with healthy computer mantenaince.

    A good defrag is always helpful.

    Its got good information on defragging, clearing un-used files and a link to EasyCleaner (great program ive used for a while now) helps clean the registry out.

    My PC is running quite good. Didn't feel a need to format it since 2006. :)
    (using Windows XP Pro SP2) P4, 2.8GHz with 1.25GB RAM.

    Though i'm short on HD space. Only 2GB left, out of 40.

    I have an external 320GB hdd, and I installed System Suit Pro 8 too, which has advanced PC diagnostic, cleanup, and virus protection tools. Maybe it will help! Also, I once was told by a computer technician at a local computer shop that my computer couldn't hold more than 756mb of RAM. Why is this and is it true?

    Defragment, get rid of extra programs, clean up startup programs, disable uneeded services, ADD RAM!
    That's what I do with my computer when it slows up. :)
