    I believe it's very rare, and it would be an action that only an administrator could take, if the editor had been removed for cause.

    Many ex-editors do ask for reinstatement, and are granted it, if they left on their own, and left in good standing. Several have recently rejoined, and were welcomed back warmly. :)

    I own 4 blogs and submitted all 4 months back, not even a single one is accepted. I dont know what is the criteria, all the blogs have good traffic as well as PR>2

    That bit I think may have lost me. Did you read the guidelines (for what that can matter)?

    If the blog has been up for a while, and you update it with unique content fairly often, then getting a listing should not be all that hard...assuming you submitted to the correct category, and there is an editor around to add it.
