ya the price is too high only to get into the yahoo directory, With 300$ you can do lot of SEO stuffs yourself which can give better results than that.

You could use the $299 to outsource with services to build backlinks and perform other SEO with likely better results.

Do like this $10x30=$300 paid post to different high pr blogs and you get better rankings. this is what I would do with $300.

Most of peoples who submitted their website into Yahoo directory these day are because of seo purpose and not a traffics. This is a simply way to see if it's worth or not. If your website has been listed under the category that has been indexed by Googlebots - It's worth. Otherwise it is not.

Only you can answer better, did you see any results after getting listed or not?

Yes but there's no guarantee unless u have anything really interesting or unique

For OP: i think 299$ is a bit too much not worth renewing unless u have been profited in the present

How much traffic are you receiving from Yahoo! Your ROI should answer that question for you.

I wouldn't renew and see how it goes if you have a massive drop in traffic then you know Yahoo directory is bringing a lot of traffic, if not don't bother save your money.
