I tend to believe that Google Traffic comes to my websites on a more constant basis and that The Google Users have helped my website grow through their visits. Yahoo based traffic comes once in a while and has never really done so much for me as of yet. ~ Mike
Ok, slowly things have changed, traffic is starting to rise from Yahoo all of a sudden :| Any idea why that might be happening?
My traffic from Yahoo is slightly better than traffic from Google in three areas: • pages per visit • average time on site • bounce rate
Same is with me too. Traffic from Yahoo traffic converts more in case of Adsense Ads and Google Search Engine traffic do not convert that much for Adsense. So, I have to say that Yahoo traffic is more of a quality and also they spend more time on site compare to Google traffic.
Google search traffic are more internet savvy so they are much harder to be tricked into anything or marketed to if you will.
I agree that it is probably better to get a high traffic from yahoo but I do'nt arrive to get a good visibility from Yahoo so thanks to Google from where the visits come!
I got some visitors from a search in Google but not Yahoo, I guess it's cause more people are using Google, so it's Google that brings me traffic.
as per my point of view: yahoo's visitors are more genuine than the Google as i have marked several time that (take examle) the visits come from google is 100 but the lead generate visitors is around 10 , when there is in Yahoo...the visitors are around 50-80 but the lead generating visitors are around 15-20. Yahoo Traffic are more geniune than the google, as per i think Regards, james
Hello, My website gets more traffic from google in comparison to yahoo. So for me google is better than yahoo.
Why ppl don't read the first post ? just simply whack ..... This thread about YAHOO and GOOGLE SE TRAFFIC conversion rate, Not about google or yahoo bring you more traffic .
Higher conversion rates normally comes from search engines which are actually used to SEARCH and not correct English spelling mistakes
Definitely not, Google holds more of the market and being ranked #1 in Google is a whole different ball game than being ranked #1 on Yahoo.
I had never checked, so I just logged into my analysis dashboard. Yikes - my Yahoo traffic is twice as likely to convert and 150% more profitable than Google! HOWEVER, revenue from Google is 500% higher than from Yahoo. So, I agree with the OP general analysis, but the volume of traffic from Google makes it less interesting.
I think it's fully random.. People from yahoo.. are just as human as the people from Google. Either way that person would of stayed for as long as he did whether he came from Yahoo or Google. You're a search engineist!
I've said it before and i'll say it again, Google traffic is for correcting spelling mistakes most of the time , i still think that traffic from Yahoo is more suitable though
