Yes the same i observed..it might be the low amount of traffic from yahoo which is having less bounce rate. but for Google the traffic will be high...same time bounce rate.
I feel that google's traffic is better as they're the #1 search engine in the world and almost everyone use their service.
I don't think that yahoo is better than Google. Google is the king and it provides more than yahoo big time
BETTER??? I would say it depends on how you define better. Better for users? If so definitely Google. But when you refer to marketers, online business owners, CPA, PPC, and just about any kind of ROI and conversions I would definitely go with Yahoo, Bing an MSN and keep as far away from Google as possible. So, you see, it all depends HOW you ask and WHY you ask. That's why we introduce confusion among us because we sometimes don't know what we ask and most of the time don't bother thinking at what we answer.
It depends where you are located as well, in the uk I think Google has something like an 80% market share of searches so you can not ignore Google.
I agree with what you are saying and for my own site I can say even I do not receive as much traffic from Yahoo than from Google so visitors coming from Yahoo stay longer on my site and look at more pages, means the bounce rate is much lower than from Google traffic. Also my site does better in Yahoo SERP's than it does in Google SERP's, but that's another subject Cheers verdecove
Google is better due to the fact that everyone uses it. I don't use yahoo search engine that much, unless im at there site.
google is far far much better... but anyhow you can always get some quality traffic from Yahoo too... cz people search there too
Google is more competitive, while I have found that your URL is uber important in the Yahoo search engine.
If I had the choice of 100 users from google, or 100 from yahoo, I'd choose yahoo. Why? Because the majority of yahoo searches are from people who've installed junk on their computer that installs the yahoo toolbar, and who've installed spyware/adware. All means they're more likely to click my ads, download my ppi, etc.
