I'd prefer traffic from either site. Come on, traffic is traffic. No matter where you're getting it from, it's always good. (unless it's a bot) yugo,
I've posted a reply in mid November, and since then our Yahoo traffic keept converting way better than Google. For the current month our Yahoo traffic is converting some 4.2 times better than Google! So in terms of quality Yahoo traffic rocks. It's the traffic that makes you money that counts at the end of the day
I too have heard that people who have Used Yahoo for PPC have more click thru rates. I hope Yahoo increasing it user base as we need to have good competition to benefit all.
My websites have always received a higher percentage of traffic from Google than Yahoo. Even though my Yahoo traffic is approximately 25 % of what i get from Google, the conversion rates are much better for my Yahoo visitors. Currently, my yahoo conversion rate is close to 50% more than my google visitor conversion rate. These details have been observed over a period of 2 months. Maybe, the yahoo conversion rate will get diluted once the traffic numbers increase. But, for now and in my opinion, Yahoo does seem to have the more focused search crowd.
Well, I bet Google gets you a lot more traffic, and that overpowers if Google's visitors are of lesser quality.
i have an website that gets traffic from yahoo, and not for google.that is very strange. but, google has the most traffic. anyway,i saw that visitors from yahoo come back to my site often then visitors from google
I got a big traffic from Google than yahoo but sometimes yahoo also gives good traffic. but when i see overall then yahoo is not good for me.....
I get every 50 - 100 traffic from google then get 1 from yahoo. But yahoo user stay on my site for longer time.
No, I don't think so because i think Google traffic is more better than any other because Google is in top at this time. so Google is more searchable than any other search engines. Thanks
I also find that visitors from yahoo spend more time on my site than google. Yahoo traffic is more targeted than google.
