even i have observed that users coming from yahoo stay for longer. That does increase the opportunity for increasing conversions, but the latter depends on what type site yours is too..
U r right. I get more then 85% of my blogs traffic from google and remaining from direct and referrals.
Yahoo bots are lazy fellows but Google bots very active. So, we can expect more traffic from Google search engine spiders. However, we can expect part of the traffic from Yahoo! search engines. Similarly, we can also expect traffic from Bing Search engines.
I agree with you. I prefer google pagerank than yahoo backlinks. And google shows proper search results.
Well, to be honest, it wouldn't matter to me pretty much where the traffic came from mostly, as far as search engines go. If you're interested only in conversions, my recommendation would be just to keep your site content up to par, so that you can receive an ample amount of traffic regularly from any search engine. Hope this helps =)
I have noticed that people who view http:www.ezbusinessloans.com/apply.html through yahoo are more attentive and are sure of what they are looking for. As opposed to clients who come across the site through google who are just browsing and happened to stumble upon it.
That's really odd. My google results are slightly better on page rank and way better on bonce rate(35% to 45%). D:
I read about the same thread in another forum.. yes, i think most of the hits in yahoo will convert compared to Google. I would agree with this thread.. So if you have site it is always to target all the major SE, not just Google.
For me, yahoo traffic is substantially less than google but the quality or potential of visitors to buy is quite higher in yahoo than in google, at least in my sector. In other words, success in sales per inquiry in yahoo is better than google, but to sum up all, google is better in term of number games.
Maybe Yahoo visitors are some dunno anything about the internet people sort of and they don't know Google and tend to spend more than a normal regular Google user.
