It is highly unlikely that they will come as strong as they used to be. I don't know what exactly went wrong with Yahoo, Geocities and everything else related to security troubles they've had.
Sociologists conducted a very interesting survey among people of mature age. To the question - "Where would you like to go? - to a new place or where you were before 10-20 years ago" Most wanted to go where they had been before. Yahoo has a much better chance of attracting users than a new startup.
Wouldn't bet on it after they got shot of pretty much everything on their site I actually used, and became basically "Bing" with a Yahoo Logo sticky-taped onto it
I don't think so (but nothing is impossible). To be honest I never used Yahoo and still not using it. And, if it is coming back then it won't be the same as it was ages ago.
