Is Yahoo Mail down for anyone?

    I keep trying to access my Yahoo Mail account and I am getting this message:

    While trying to retrieve the URL: http://mail.yahoo.ca

    The following error was encountered:

    Connection Failed
    The system returned:

    (60) Operation timed outThe remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

    I even tried accessing through a proxy, and I still got this same error!

    Anyone else have any luck accessing it?

    mastex: Thanks for checking, its probably my crappy connection ;) Although I have never had a problem with Yahoo Mail before. :)

    Its absolutely fine for me... check your connection, or maybe the yahoo canada servers are down at the moment..

    Now a days there are so many problems with yahoo mail :( Sometimes getting error like user id and password wrong for correct info and in few minutes login possible with same details :rolleyes:

    Seems to load fine here.

    But I'm not in Canada, and somebody Canadian might be in a better position to tell you about the situation.

    Thanks everyone for checking, Im wondering now if its the Yahoo Mail Canada thats the probelm. I'll keep trying ;)


    EDIT: I just checked Yahoo Canada Answers, and they are down too.

    Says they are down for maintenance "taking a coffee break" lol .... So I guess its a Canadian wide outage.
