Is yahoo is slower than gmail?

    have been using yahoo emails for many years and never had any problem with it,i got "locked out" from gmails a few times

    I prefer gmail but do not forget that yahoo once ruled this scene. It is in no way slower than gmail but I use gmail as i also use other Google products from the same account.

    I think it might be due to your internet connection speed. I use both yahoo and Gmail and haven't encountered slow speed on any of them.

    Yes Yahoo Mail is slow and in addition to the large amount of spam reaching my inbox from Yahoo and Gmail have much control over spam messages.

    Both are good to sending mail ,but gmail is little bit better than yahoo to sending mail quickly .

    Yes yahoo is very slow compared to gmail , because yahoo some more features than just email unlike gmail.Gmail is specifically designed for email purposes.

    I use yahoo mail which work very well. I get all important mails in my inbox within a short period of time.
    Gmail is also good one.

    I find that Gmail is actually a lot faster than Yahoo. I don't like Yahoo mail at all now :( I much prefer Hotmail and Gmail.

    No Yahoo mail is very fast, but the mail can be much faster and should probably add a fast loading style for slow modems.
