Is yahoo is slower than gmail?

    Yes yahoo email is slow and additional to that lot of spam comes to my inbox in yahoo and gmail has lot of control over these spam mails.

    I think Yahoo is relatively faster than Gmail because Gmail wholly depends on internet connection speed whereas Yahoo consumes less connection speed dependent

    Yahoo is not slow than Gmail rather it has more soft and "flexible" filters than former. So whenever you opened your Yahoo mail you may found a lot of spams but, on the contrary Gmail has more strict filters.

    On my system, yahoo loads emails just as fast as gmail and I have no issues what so ever with either. Im not so keen on the new versions as sometimes for some reasons email wont load unless you let the right leaderboard ad load up first. But that is every so often.

    I like gmail much better than yahoomail. I still use both but I prefer gmail, as it is much quicker and reliable.
