I was just clicking the international links on yahoo's homepage and found something to do with Firefox. I thought this was Google's territory. http://hk.yahoo.com/ It's for Hong Kong. I don't see the link on any other places but HK.
Yahoo has been the homepage of firefox for as long as i can remember - In China and Hong Kong that is.. Yahoo.com seems to be doing very well in China at the moment, with their partnership with alibaba.com and their answer to ebay - taobao.com.
you mean if you download firefox, the homepage will actually be set to Yahoo? Doesnt it usually go to mozilla.org?
Now that's curious. Is that due to some redirect (ie. redirecting mozilla.org to yahoo), or is in in-built to the copies of firefox downloaded? Does this happen even for the firefoxes downloaded off mozilla.com?
