Yahoo dir (paid) might help you get referral traffic and Google gives some link juice as well. More than Google, Yahoo ranks your website on targeted keywords. If you aim at Yahoo for large volume of crow, consider enlisting at Yahoo Dir. However, if you want purely for link juice, consider Dmoz, perhaps better option than Yahoo Paid Dir.
Well it depends........in my opinion a bit too pricey. Yahoo is not only expensive but you have to pay every year. If you think that your website can get decent traffic and your visitors will generate good $$$ income ....definitely worth it. I would stick to Google at the begginigng and once I have some money from my web than i would consider listing my website.
It depends on what do you want from it. If you want to resell traffic, then most probably it would not bring good return on investment.
I've found it to be well worth it. The fee is minimal compared to the returns I get. But, keep in mind, your mileage will vary.
It has a good impact on the search rankings. I don't submit my sites because there is no refund if they are rejected for some unknown reasons.
i just don't see how listing on yahoo will help you directly, how do they make sure you get the traffic???
I've submited my website to the yahoo free version for several times since 2002, and have never been listed. Now I am considering the paid version. Although I don't expect big increase in traffic, I think it will help my Google pagerank and search result for my keywords.
