There are times during the night which are slow, usually when people are going to sleep and waking up.

I've got few fellas in the states and they are making serious money w/ yahoo, and I believe they will continue to develop new things to their niche - eg. "car parts" is a real goldmine on yahoo (that 1 niche generating more than 9k bucks/mo for each of them).

I do not think that Yahoo is dead. Isn't there news of Bing and Yahoo joining forces and forming a combined effort?

No it's just a sign of changing the way they used to walk. Probably very soon they are coming with new strategies to regain the losses already made.

I have personally found Yahoo to be very good in their presentation and page outlay. I use them as my home page. Also it is very pleasing to look at with much to interest any visitor. No they are not finished.

I think yahoo is still doing good because of Email and News Articles, but their search engine is not that popular anymore because everyone is now using google, especially to advertise their business or products. Yahoo is still alive but only in other resources not in search engines.

Yahoo is not dead. It's just that Google really rules the search activities of web users.

Yahoo lives on, but more like a zombie in terms of competing with Google. It's got a search engine, but nobody really invests the time and energy on it considering 2/3 of the search engine traffic or more runs through big G.

Yahoo is on life support right now and is being kept alive by Bing. It doesn't help that their CEO was recently fired for lying about his resume.
