Sometime a single word has different meaning........ I thought you've some different meaning of anti-seo
Anti-seo is when your optimizing your site with different things that might have worked in the past but now only get your site penalized.
So what did Yahoo do? Last month I had great rankings but now I am no where to be seen on US search. If you try Canada, UK, etc. based search I am ranking great. How can I be ranking great in all other Yahoo searches cept the US search?
I got knocked out of top spots for some fairly competitive stuff the past few days. Like no-where to be found. Pages of mine that are garbage SEO wise are showing in the 20's (serps). The "good" pages were not there. Its only 10-15% of my traffic--- but that means my income took a 10-15% hit. I dont need this sh*t on Saturday morning.
I was born human but I discovered that I was really a Gazelle trapped in a human body. It is amazing what modern medicine can do.
Couldn't agree more! Now you need your page titles (and directories) to match the keyphrase you are targeting. Lots of spam.
I'm pretty sure Yahoo! was assigning value to dirty links (such as affiliate links), and started to diminish their value. I saw some droppage on a few major terms and I'm currently strategising on how to recoup a few spots here and there. Maybe Web Gazelle could swoop down and help a brother out? PM me if ya hear me!
I accepted being pushed to page 2 by those spammy domain names and in exchange I have targeted some good search terms that are not quite as competitive. The result has been that the webpage is now on page one for about a dozen lesser terms and an overall increase in traffic from Yahoo. I am now using this strategy throughout the site.
I have gone from having my site listed on the top 10 of Yahoo with various popular search strings to not even being in the top 100. My site has gone from having over backlinks with Yahoo to 0. It seems that this all happened practically overnight about a week ago. I am losing a ton of traffic because of this.
