Is yahoo better than google?

Google is 1000 times better than yahoo..

 

Many web owners give priority to Google, because it has many users. But they wouldn't want to leave out yahoo , it could be bringing some fraction of the visitors. One way yahoo can improve their search engine is by providing the users with better results. They must have efficient page ranking system just like Google and have ways of recognizing good backlinks and the bad ones.

 

I think no Google is the better one.

 

There will be two reason your on-page is good as per the yahoo algorithm thats the reason why you got the 6th position but the link building strategy followed by you is too poor. Google index website by looking into link building strategies. As much as relavant links you have, you will get good position on google. Make sure don't jump into spamy process other wise you will get banned by them.

 

Google will always be the dominate search engine, yahoo will follow behind. I say that just because Google provides me with all the traffic.

For an SEO point of view, Google is the number 1 search engine. although, Yahoo still helps for getting traffics for our site.

 

Google is the best in search engine list, you can judge it by the number of users opting and Alexa ranking. Google is at no.1 and yahoo lies at 4.

Because you don't have a high competition in yahoo (that means yahoo doesn't crawled many of the websites like Google), but while coming to the Google it has many. Always, it better to choose with the high competition, if you have done with it then no need to worry about the low competition (because you've already achieved).

 

I almost not agree,but i agree that yahoo site explore is really good,
but now there is not the tool any longer.

 

it's very obvious that google is better than yahoo, for one it account 70% over market share of search engine. For another, it is very powerful in its design and technics. And its reputation, if you are facing the international business, then English is essential language, if your company ranks in the first page of google, just wait the orders pouring in.

 

Google is very useful especially for page ranking. I think that you should focus more on google since many people are now using it.

its not like yahoo is completely waste of use.....it is seemed to be good in giving yahoo answers......talking about google is best for search optimization!!
