Is Yahoo API response slow on heavy loads for you ?

Im finding that Yahoo API now responds a bit slow than usual .
I own and run http://www.kidsuki.com , which has been using it .

Now i see that the coloring pages returned are a bit slow , in response which degrads the overall performance of the site . If you find the same please inform here , after me .

This occurs mostly in US morning times when i receive a load of traffic.

 

Are you sure it is not your server/host or another script on your site? Other times to check is 8pm-11pm PST.

That is really a point to consider , as i host in a shared hosting space .
But i have increased the script's wait time (timeouts and stuff ) in order to fetch responses considerably.
i have been running the site for year and half now , so i dont think its a problem with host . Any ideas ?

 

last few day I have also experinced the same problem with yahoo API ..

 

my blog that Using Yahoo API service doesn;t work now, so can't generate any content...

 

I have seen a few problems with Yahoo API service. Hopefully fixed ASAP
