Is yahoo answer worth your time

Difficulty of getting traffic from Yahoo Answers is likely to plummet when Yahoo reacts to lot of people starting to use Auto traffic hijack - pushed by all the big names last month.

The amount of times that I've been researching a question myself and clicked on the sources that have been quoted by the top answer would be in the hundreds. So yes. I would say that for bringing extremely targeted visitors to your site, Yahoo answers is work your time!

Aol Answers can a also good alternative to Yahoo Answers if your account on it is suspended.

 

As per my exp, YA gives much much much better traffic than AOLA

 

Yahoo answers bring you targeted traffic very quick but now a days they making lot of changes to prevent spam.i think it is still good way to get traffic if you don't want to work on seo.

 

I also get good traffic from Yahoo Answers, but in AOL I get more traffic and I also get backlinks because you can insert anchor text on your profile.

if you promote your website on yahoo answers they will kick you out. It is helpful when you have questions to be asked. For me, yahoo answer is worth my time.

 

As i checked all links are no follow, then it can't be useful for increasing backlink.But It's obvious that yahoo and it's Answer section is one the most important websites on the net. Having many answer about issues related to your site with a link to your site (it should be related) can help you in receiving targeted traffic to your website.

Try to have many best answers over there !

 

I used to get decent traffic from Yahoo answers, but it depends on the quality of your answers and the way they are worded. In any case, the best way to find out if Yahoo answers (Or any other site for that matter) is worth your time is to use it a few times and evaluate the results.

It's worth your time to get very niche targeted traffic in low quantities. It's not worth your time to garner SEO beneficial backlinks.

 

I have a gambling related site which is a pretty lucrative audience and so even low but targeted traffic from Yahoo is worthwhile. If it's a much less profitable niche, it might not be worth your while.
