Of course it's one of the best search engines... The two big SE are the best 'coz they really gives accurate answer on whatever keywords you type on their search box...

Considering Google bans sites much more than Yahoo (this assures quality most times)... I would say Google is better and Yahoo is not the best

No way, I don't think so.

    Google are literally taking over.

YouTube is almost also household product, plus other tools to choose from.

If yahoo want to be the best they need to come up with something.

No search engine is BEST. But yes, Google and Yahoo are better than the rest, they are striving to become BEST though.

Yahoo definitely plays 2nd fiddle to Google but of course is one of the top 3 and IMO #2.

I think Yahoo & Google are probably level in terms of search , if you compare over many searches

Actually many Google search results I get on the front page have been spammed to the front page. I find many irrelevant results or substandard sites/blogs that should not be on the front page.

This problem is much less on Yahoo because not many people really know how to game Yahoo, or not interested...I guess. I find a number of sites within the first few pages of Yahoo that are really good, but in Google, they are nowhere to be found.

I have great admiration for Yahoo now....it gives more relevant results.

AS an example I was searchign for the bio of an adult movie model. Now Google's first three pages of results pointed to commercial sites selling her movies.

Yahoo on the other hand, had links to her interview and biography, in the top ten results!

Certainly one of the best, but there aren't many to start with...
