Is Y flicking between past and previous results?

I have been noticing recently that for particular terms, 1 day I will rank fairly decently. The next day (or even a few hours later) I will have completely dissapeared from the results, before returning in either the initial or a slight variation on the initial position. This process seems to be repeated constantly.

I thought they maybe alternating datacenters, some haveing older data which is fair enough but is a bit of a pain in the ass when you are trying to assess the results of various SEO methods

It's pretty common to revert to old db's during an update. I would guess that's what's happening, and would humbly suggest it's about time. Y's been pretty unreliable lately - to put it mildly. At least for the stuff I watch.

Sadly I'm not seeing it. Would love to be back on page 1 for my top keyword.

I have over 400 sites. They have basically all been delisted down to about 20-50 pages indexed. I am seeing almost zero traffic from yahoo. MSN and Goog are fine. As for adsense.... :(
And yes, every for my 8 truely 100% legit domains as well. So, something major is happening right now. Update? I hope so.
My PRIMARY main store site dropped from 8900 pages indexed to 145.
