Is xoom a safer way to get paypal funds to your bank account?

The Title says it all : Is xoom a safer way to get paypal funds to your bank account?

The reason why I am asking this is because of the reason that I want to transfer my paypal funds to my bank. But paypal doesn't support my bank yet. So I thought xoom will be a better option. I wanted opinions before I do this.

 

Yes it is safe and i have used it many times.Hardly takes 2-3 days to complete transfer.

I have used Xoom and i will agree with getjimmy that it is safe but if you have a bank account which can be used with paypal, it is much safer.

Xoom is really good only if your sending your own paypal money to your bank using Xoom... i have did that 8 times.. and all the time i get the money after 3 days inside my bank account.... and so far i never had any problem using Xoom.... so i guess its very secure....

 

I have done transaction with Xoom as well , got my money in 4 days.. No problem it's safe

But you can't use same name for both ends( Sender and Receiver). If that happen is occurred they will cancel the Transaction.

yes one can use his own account to send the money to his own Xoom account... so yes xoom allow same names as i have done is for myself... all you need is a verified PayPal account or xoom will cancel the transaction... and also when sending money to yourself you can only select bank delivery... dont select Pickup or home delivery... or xoom will cancel the transaction also....

 

i agree with you. xoom also verifies if the transaction is real or fraud so its really secure. i have use xoom once in a while but i'm still thinking twice if the $11 service fee is worth it..

Of what countries you does translation through xoom and in what? Where do you live and where there is a bank account?
