Is www.Domain-Name.com and www.DomainName.com same to SE?

    so if that is the case wouldn't it be better to have domain-name.com instead of domainname.com? Why then does everyone take the second option?

    I think it's because users will type in domainname.com long before they will type in domain-name.com, therefore more traffic for the former.
