Is Writing Articles and Submitting to Top Article Directories Still Have Value ...for link building and for traffic purposes.

What is the best way to use article directories today, heard the value of links are not any good any more correct me if I am wrong ?

I am thinking of just focusing on a strict article marketing campaign submitting only to article directories what is your feedback and how should i be approached ?

 

Yes obviously Article submitting has a great value for Link building as well as traffic, but the article should be unique and fresh. Otherwise you will not get full benefit from this.

article marketing is still useful if it is not abused by the duplicate content & spun articles. if you have an unique article go for article directory without hesitation

 

I think you are right, however, I believe spun content has to be taken into the pros and cons of it, and not sure if this is all clear for me, you see if spun content does not benefit for seo link juice then can it help with traffic.....that is the question how do I use article marketing correctly .

 

I don't think you will get much traffic from a spun article unless it is very good and the article itself starts to rank well. The most benefit will come from your best articles that end up ranking for some relevant keywords. Aside from that the biggest benefit is the dofollow links back to the website you working on.

 

Article writing is still a great way, just make sure you don't spin them. Make sure they are unique and manually written and you will receive a good backlink in return.

Article marketing is good because it diversify your link building campaign in the eyes of search engines and yes the backlinks are counted by Google. As far as value is concerned, I believe, it doesn't help you achieve high SERP, because I have done it in the past for one of my website with no remarkable SERP results. Years passed by and couldn't get any big traffic either from article directories directly or from search engine rankings. Perhaps, investment of time and money with no result. Spend wisely!

 

If you have good articles it will still work. write them yourself and dont pay someone to spin some article.

it's glad to hear that back links from article directories still have some values, and it's not like we don't like to post original article tho, but for some people to make an article from scratch (especially person like me who just taking care of technical stuff), it will takes forever lol

This is a good debate. I feel that good articles should be geared for traffic and not SEO. If you have an article go viral then great. You cannot count on the SEO benefit anymore. If it works today that can change tommorrow.

When it comes to article marketing content plays a huge role so make sure to write an article which discuss in depth of the story and still should be short and simple to read for the end users.
