I think some are fake but some are real......

 

The plot and fights are planned out, but the moves and injuries are all real.

 

I think the injuries are called accidents in wrestling

Its fake and i often see them to get enjoyment from their acting not from their fighting.
sometiem they act so nicely that i think there should be a oscar like prize for them.

Yes, wrestling is scripted. They plan the matches in advance and everything else that you see on the program, FOR THE MOST PART.

Do they know what's going to happen when they go out there? Of course not. Every time they go out there it's a pure risk and anything could happen to them. Do you know how to jump off a 20ft ladder without hurting yourself? They have to go through years of training to get to the standard that the superstars are in the WWE, TNA, etc. How about when they get injured and have to take 8-12+ out of action, is that fake? How about Chris Benoit who murdered his family? Which was actually partly because of the bumps he took to the head in the ring, is that fake? How about Eddie Guerrero who died because he took so many drugs to make himself look bigger and be a better performer? Is that fake? It's so narrow minded to use the word FAKE. It's REAL ENTERTAINMENT. What those guys put their bodies through to entertain people is just disrespectful and completely wrong to call it fake. Do you call movies fake? Or your favourite television programs? You say, oh it's only acting - wrestling is acting, it's a sports drama.

And to the guy that asked the question, if anyone says it's fake, they're wrong

 

Sumo wrestling is definitely real. Awesome to see the bouts in the many tournaments here in Japan.
