Is wordpress better for SEO site?

    Hi,
    I don't have much time to design my website but just want to create a website for my seo services with wordpress.
    Is wordpress good for my seo company?
    Can I get good traffic to my site created with WP?

    Wordpress or jomla or any other CMS will depend on your sites requirement . If you want a full fledged CMS platform with options galore then go for Joomla or Drupal and if you just want to set up a blog then go for Wordpress .

    Also , I am not sure what kind of SEO company asks such a question ? I mean you claim to be an SEO services provider and still stuck up with facts as basic as CMS version and traffic .

    WordPress is becoming a beast, even as a full fledged CMS. I find it more intuitive and user friendly than Drupal and Joomla. And the publishing tools from an SEO perespective are unbeatable.

    Yeah I prefer the CMS - Wordpress as best suited for SEO needs, specifically when it comes to use various important SEO plug-ins. I do use all-in-one SEO plug in for my project and also suggest to use this.

    A properly structured and tagged html site will perform just as well as a wordpress site (with the appropriate plugins).

    The advantage that wordpress has is the speed at which you can add both content and seo information to the site. Also the structure of wordpress is inherently seo friendly (for the most part).

    Many people have the mistaken assumption that google loves wordpress. What google loves is fresh content and it doesn't really care if its delivered by straight html or a CMS like wordpress, joomla, or drupal.
