I'm using vista but I want to upgrade to windows 7. I tried today but it told me to update RAID drivers and such. Since I have a prebuilt notebook I have no idea where to get these drivers from! Either way I'll sort it out eventually and get it working as my primary ;)

I'm running win 7 in a dual boot with XP SP3 and i've got to say that even though Win 7 7100RC is beta it's 100% more secure and reliable than vista any day! I run Win 7 as my main OS and i'm more than happy with it even in it's beta stage! I can't wait for it's final release date to load it on as a 1 boot system. Yeah sure it has a few problems with a few programs like deamon tools but Ultra Iso has taken care of that for now and i'm pretty much running it full time! All I can say is, roll on full release date time as I can't wait!

Update to this I suppose :D

I installed Windows 7 on my primary system, which is my laptop. Seems ok so far I've only found a few troublesome bugs. I like the design better than vista even though they are very similar. So far it's not a bad upgrade (although I did get the blue screen of death today, not sure what caused it though).

Anyone else notice that Winrar seems to hate 7's desktop? I can't extract anything to it. I have to put the rar in a new folder and then extract the contents. It's like it unpacks on the desktop but it's not visible. That's sorta annoying but I'll get over it lol
