I've tried windows 7 But I'm currently using windows vista. And I would say that windows vista is much better than windows 7. It has better graphics and better hardware utilization whereas windows 7 is only better in networking.
I have been using Windows 7 from over a month now, its been amazing, pretty fast, and stable. surely they have produce the mix of speedy XP and awesome looks of vista.
got it install on my spare pc which runs on a single core amd with 512k ram and while vista choke win 7 seems to do just fine. Well I am guessing that's a good sign, will buy win 7 once it come out along with a new PC
No not yet. I'm pretty happy with vista 64bit. My only complaint is firefox has ui delays using vista compared to xp.
Win 7 is good but due to it been only in a BETA state, I wouldnt want to risk using it on my main machine. Also i assume there would be a few compatability issues. sean
Its clearly not.. I use WinXP 64bit on my workstation and OS X 10.5.6 Leo on my MacBook Pro.. But I tried it and it feels pretty good, and the ressource-consumption is much better than Vista's.. even better than XP's I think..
Windows 7 is a new OS, so it might be some software aren't compatible with it. I prefer to Windows XP SP3.
