One of the main reasons I want Windows 7 is because the movie maker feature looked pretty decent in the commercial. Is it any good though (from those of you who use it often?) PCs seem to get neglected when it comes to video, which is where Mac users have it all. I'm tired of having to use a million different programs to do different things (Virtualdub, Quicktime Pro, Roxio, etc).
The final Windows 7 release introduced two new issues for me: (1) the driver for the TV Tuner on my 5 year old HP desktop isn't Windows 7 compatible so I can't watch TV in a window. It had worked fine with each of the beta releases but was turned off by the final... (2) similarly, Photo Story 3 (PS3) had installed and worked on each beta release, but won't install on the final.
launch Movie Maker in window7? Click on Start. Select, All Programs. Select, Windows Live. Finally, select Windows Live Movie Maker. Windows 7, will now open the Movie Maker window. You can see the Windows Movie Maker window below: Windows Movie Maker have interesting features like effects, transitions, titles, audio track, timeline narration, and Auto Movie. Basic effects as well as audio tracks can be added to the movie. The attractive update of this application has made it really easy to put the videos together and enjoy them without break. Effects like fade in and out, and other add to the fun. Initially when you open the Windows Movie Maker window, it does not contain any content in it. There are basically two sections in the Windows Live Movie Maker window : Collection area, and Preview area. Collections area displays the thumbnails of the photos, video clips, and audio clips, that have been added by you in the defined order in which they are to be played in the final movie. On the other hand Preview area displays the images or clips, which are selected in the Collections area.
