If I am correct Microsoft themselves offered the beta for free, in Janurary.

The beta copy is freely available at Microsoft for testing. It maybe the internal build version that may have been leaked.

I won't be very surprised if these 'leaks' have been conducted by MS themselves. Perfect situation for them to get people talking about Windows 7 without having too much of a commercial loss. I'm sure the leaked one is FAR from the final build. When 7 is really out, MS will prolly unveil some major flaws, and buy into game makers like they did into Rockstar, and force everybody to get SP1s and stuff like that.

But nevermind, cracks for those will be out as well. MS thinks its smart, but the pyr8z, they is smarter :D

thats true actually. they dont really make that much money from the tech savvy people who know how to use torrents anyway. i think most of the money they make is from sofware prepackaged with computers and such. ms is actually caring less and less about piracy because i believe theyre letting non genuine windows users use windows update in windows 7

Yes, it leaked all over my desk, and my chair. Now I have a big mess. So I cleaned it all up with my ShamWow! But still, I have a big Windows 7 stain on my carpet. It looks like Bill Gates! :)

It is an irony that all OS of Microsoft are easily found in the gray market, at times even before their official launch!

I fail to understand why they do not realize such loss of revenue and price their products more cheaply, leaving insignificant reason for users to look for such copies! :(

Format the drive where vista is installed and then install a new copy of windows 7. That's it what I did when I installed windows 7 for the 1st time.
