Yes windows 7 ultimate is the best among windows, even though micro soft launched windows 8. windows 7 is easy to access and it is evergreen operating system in micro soft world.

Beta version of Windows8 is already launched in New York for some selected users, and its reviews are pretty good as the features of the new Windows OS are attractive than ever before. Windows8 is made for a better gaming experience so the graphics of the OS are going to be awesome.
Until now, Windows 7 is still one of the best operating systems available today. Though Windows 8 sounds catchy, it's more or less still on its baby phase and may still have some bugs.

Certainly. From my opinion, Windows 7 is a very good operating system. It is so much critical. Though it is not so easy, it can be worked up to the mark. It do not use a large ram. It 7 is smooth and it has multi function.It also has its own antivirus and internet security.
Windows 7 is the best OS, I think Windows 8 is now useful only for notebook/tablet owners. I see no benefit in it for the owners of desktop computers (except DirectX 11.1). In addition, the new Win 8 interface is not very convenient. I will wait for the arrival of Windows 9.
Microsoft annoys me, I not a huge fan of Windows 7, I prefer XP as a better system and also prefer the mac systems but they don't run half the windows software
I have no complaints about W 7 but I also liked XP. As I understand now based on the comments, Win 8 is more specified for tablets and other "touch-ware". Well, untill I get something like that, I will stick to 7 I guess.
Windows7 is great operating system as all the errors and probs had been solved the was finding in the vista and XP. Windows7 proved the user that its perfect user for them with all functionality that was missing in the previous OS.
