I read about windows 8 on wiki and other sites and I can say that windows 8 has a major change in concept and design! what is noticable is the new feature called Metro UI, what is basically a sarting interface that tries to show all info/accesible apps in one shot, what makes windows look like a smart phone OS or kids toy that's one of downsides of windows 8 in my opinion, and I think windows user will be dispointed when upgrading to 8 I think windows is still the best ~yooozy
windows 7 is very good operating system but still i am using win xp for my laptop and os x mountain lion for mac book
See i have tested Win 8 and its not user friendly. They have changed the traditional Windows interface with a crap one which only tablet users benefit more. After Windows XP yes Windows 7 is the best.Better stick to it
After playing with Windows 8, it is very 'touch' oriented. Not very friendly for business desktop use. Windows is is destined to polarize people. I started to use it with an open mind, didn't mind it to start with. But, after much use, I now can't stand it. Simply, if a user interface gets in the way, it is poorly designed. The Windows 8 UI gets in the way...
i don't about the Windows 8, but windows 7 is best for now. i think hardware up-gradation required for Windows8.
I prefer windows xp. Even thou it doesn't look as neat as 7, it does it's job properly and it doesn't need as much resources. But that's just me.
I tried the windows 8 beta [consumer version] but I think 7 is here to stay. It's like XP, A lot of people still have it. I have a copy of it too!
