Hi, I just need to know that Windows 7 is enough to protect my computer from viruses or is there any need to Install Antivirus. Because i have heard from someone that Windows 7 is enough to protect PC from viruses. Regards, WS
I would suggest you install a firewall, an antivirus and a anti-malware. Free firewalls include PC Tools Firewall Plus (just be sure to untick the Spyware Dr. Free trial), or ZoneAlarm. Free antivirus include AVG Free, Antivira, and Avast. There's also Panda Cloud Antivirus, though it's a bit odd to say the least. And as for free anti-malware, Malwarebytes mentioned above is a good one. Spybot search and destroy is another option.
Of course not. If not, why Microsoft have to develop their Microsoft Security Essentials to protect users from viruses and spyware. - Dynashox -
Nope get some anti virus protection for sure. It's worth it to pay the 100 bucks for a real anti virus software program, there are free anti virus programs out there but I'm not too sure how well they actually work.
Yes, good point dynashox. I remember when Microsoft first started up their security software, lots of people said it was a bit cheeky of them to charge money for patching up the holes in their own OS. hehe
