I agree that win7 is the best windows out there for most stuff, but most people would agree that osX is just as strong competitor overall.
i use hp laptop i can find that my laptop only support the windows vista an windows7. but i can find that when i am using windows vista laptop is going slow down and not provide the good performance but when i am starting to use windows7 then i find that my laptop performance is increased.that why i am telling that windows7 is ever good as compare to other operating system of the microsoft because it include all feature in them and it also bug free means create no problem
I am using Windows 7 and I must say I am super happy with it! It is a great operating system and I discovered that last night when my Laptop motherboard decided it didn't want to live anymore, that I could just pop my hard drive into another shell of a laptop and Windows 7 got everything working again! I believe it is because of Win 7 because I tried doing this with Vista and the computer kept crashing and wouldn't get the right drivers, etc...
Windows 7 is an amazing operating system. Microsoft made a good comeback with this one.. i hope they keep this up..
i personally use windows 7 in my laptop and i appreciate it because in this version lot of features and much more tools.....
To the original poster, I'd say that Windows 7 is a good candidate for one of the most efficient OSes around, just for the sole presence of its useful shortcuts. It's got a ton of great features and compatibility obviously makes it the default winner. However, I actually enjoyed my XP experience 2 years ago way more than I enjoy the Windows 7 OS. XP just ran so much faster and it didn't have the added bells and whistles that 7 has too much of. Still, it's an upgrade from Vista and that's good enough for me.
Yeah, Windows 7 is awesome - never had a crash and it's working just as fast as when the laptop was new. I like all the small details they added, like Aero Snap, opening multiple folders at once, not interrupting copy files because of one open Word document (that used to piss me off in XP), the Snipping tool and many other features. I believe Windows 8 will be even better in that regard (but I don't like the new Metro home screen, I hope it's removable)...
Hello, i have used windows xp and windows 7. from my experience i agree with you that windows 7 is the best os. though i have not used linux or Mac os.
So, like almost all DPers, you don't know what you're talking about but you stated an opinion like it was fact anyway.
