I have Windows 7 in my posession right now but I won't have a chance to upgrade my system until Saturday. I can't wait. It seems to be getting good reviews. How long should the install typically take me to do?
xp SP3 or xp64 have nice feature of self healing minimize boot problem. If you have a Genuine XP Installation Retail Disk, you can have repair options too! I have Authentic Retail version, successfully repaired twice in 3 years. So far my Windows 7 did not crash since Dec' 2009 so can not tell about windows 7 so I never had a chance to use Windows 7 Installation disk.
Ya, in this case I also like Windows 7 more than any other OS. And if you need something better than this then you need to use Macbook. - Mr.President -
Windows 7 for me works much better than Windows Vista... Also, works better than XP on my computer. Absolute recommendation!
Yes windows 7 is the best operating system now a days. This is the latest OS for now. It is also similar to use in Windows Vista..I've been using vista since then. but I agree that windows is the best to use and it is latest. you can try it if you want.
Obviously the best one is not Windows at all. There are many other great os, Windows is just "commonly found in every computer" - Open your eyes before saying is safe and better than other OS. Think at the requirements, are absurd and if you want to use it on a old computer it doesn't work or is extremely slow. Have you ever thought why so slow? And what about in one year when your hard disk will be full and new "improvements" will require more hardware? Will you change your computer? Mmm... open your eyes... Are you sure to really know if your computer is old or if your OS is not working good?
Hello theinsider, I will tell you from first hand experience, all of my systems have been converted to Windows 7. I am not just saying it to say because I am affiliated with Microsoft. I can truly stand behind this product and tell you straight away it works very reliably, fast and extremely stable. The 64bit version is a real powerhouse as well.
