Is winamp player really the best?

    i use winamp for mp3 only...
    but for video Media player Clasic is the best.......

    i choose winamp over iTunes

    i just wished the library could drag .mp3 faster and they should work on the vizuals as well for dj's

    as far as video , i use sony

    I AGREE. I used to like Winamp becuase it was light on system resources. But it now no different then itunes or windows media player. The both all take a million years to start up and drain the life out of the PC. Seems programmers forget KISS - Keep it simple stupid. Instead of making the product better by add more features, and bloat, they made me want to NOT use it.!

    I use Winamp exclusively with FoxyTunes to control the player while surfing the web. I do not use Media Player at all and iTunes is major bloatware, which insists on installing QuickTime!
